Creative Digital Skills Support Worker in Perth

This role is perfect for a recent graduate who wants to gain valuable work experience supporting professional creative practitioners to run workshops and share their skills with young people. This is ideal for a graduate artist/designer who wants to gain more experience working with young people in an informal learning environment.
Work Schedule: Part-time freelance role working with two different groups on a Tuesday 12 - 4.30pm / 5.45 - 8.15pm.
Rate of Pay: £20 - 25 per hour (dependent on experience)
Key Responsibilities include:
1. To support the Lead Artist with running workshops.
2. To support and demonstrate how to use software, and develop ideas.
3. Contributing ideas and observations to planning and evaluation.
4. A genuine interest in working with young people, skill sharing and mentoring.
Person Specification:
1. Excellent timekeeping and reliability.
2. Knowledge of Adobe Software including Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign and other digital applications.
3. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
4. Ability to work flexibly to meet the needs of the project and young people.
5. Commitment to Equality and Diversity.
6. Ability to work effectively in a team, and support others.
7. Graduate in Creative & Digital Art including visual communication or relevant work experience.
