Children's Residential Registered Manager
We are looking for a highly experienced Registered Manager to lead one of our Children's Homes. Recently rated Good by Ofsted, this home is part of a thriving residential service.
You will -
Have good regulatory knowledge with a practical understanding of Children's Homes Regulations and the Ofsted inspection framework
Prioritise safeguarding children and young people and ensure positive outcomes through creative and innovative methods
Can demonstrate a strength-based, individualised, and proactive leadership approach underpinned by collaboration and effective assessment and risk management
Understand and foster an inclusive and positive team culture, providing support so that staff and children feel welcomed, valued and able to achieve their potential
Can establish and build trust with staff, children and key stakeholders across residential services and care
Have a strong focus on team performance and development using team supervision, career conversations and feedback to support staff and identify improvementsFor this role, you will need -
Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare or equivalent and an ability to meet Ofsted regulatory requirements to become a Registered Manager
In depth knowledge of delivering statutory childcare services and have had, at least 2 years' experience within children's residential care, within the last 5 years
Proven leadership and managerial skills in a social care or health setting
Ability to build and maintain positive relationships with a range of individuals, built on trust in sometimes challenging situations
