What skills and experience we're looking for
We are seeking someone who:
• Can work independently using their own initiative and can actively resolve issues without direct instruction.
• Has a very good knowledge of general maintenance and repair.
• Has good DIY skills and can also complete porter age and cleaning works with a good knowledge of COSHH
• Has an excellent eye for detail and expects high standards of themselves and others.
• Has a good knowledge of health and safety policies and practices.
• Is open, honest and reliable, and has a good sense of humour.
• Recognises the importance of safeguarding the pupils at all times and is vigilant in ensuring this is maintained at all times.
• Is able to form excellent relationships with those within the school community and can contribute to the creation of a safe, positive environment that is conducive to the promotion of learning.
• Is self-motivated, energetic and has a flexible approach to the role.
