Kilwaughter Minerals Limited (Kilwaughter) is a privately held business established in 1939 with headquarters on a 100 acre site at Kilwaughter, County Antrim, Northern Ireland.
Today the business consists of three segments, each with their own products and sales structures:
* K Rend: Premium wet and dry powder renders focused on ease of use
* K Systems: External Wall Insulation systems supporting sustainable homes
* Kilwaughter Lime: supporting animal health through bedding lime products and sustainable crops with granulated lime
Their mission is to be the brand of choice, serving the customer, ensuring long-term sustainability. Their vision is to have a high-performing team and set the standard for innovation, quality and customer experience in their industries.
As a senior leader, you will develop and execute strategies to win new business for K Rend with UK and Ireland National House Builders, reporting directly to Kilwaughter Sales Director David Grace. As a key influencer you will drive a specification-led approach, working closely with house builders, their architects, contractors and render applicators to add value and provide a differentiated service. You will work in close collaboration with organisational peers within Sales, Marketing and Product Management to ensure optimal outcomes in revenue and margin growth.
Suitable candidates should have a successful track record in a similar senior business development, sales management or national/key account management role in a similar environment, working for a manufacturer of some kind of technical building product that can be found in newly built homes with a track record of success in developing and growing relationships with the national and regional house builders.
Specific product or category knowledge is not essential. We’re looking for individuals with a strong network of contacts and an excellent reputation with the national housebuilders that will enable them to open doors and get in front of the right people. Once this market starts to grow there could be the opportunity to develop a team.
Based from home this role will involve regular travel throughout the country.
