The post is part time/ full time hours based at Queens Medical Centre. Our support workers play a pivotal role within our multi-professional team, providing support to the team and high-quality care to pregnant people in line with national recommendations. The role is demanding yet rewarding.
The role entails undertaking observations, breast feeding support, emotional and wellbeing support for our families, chaperoning patients during examinations, cleaning and restocking, working as part of a team to ensure safe practice and delivery of care
The role may require working across other areas of maternity.

The role entails undertaking observations BP, pulse, urine testing etc
Taking blood for investigations .
Chaperoning during examinations.
Supporting the midwives to ensure the safe delivery of care to all patients within the department.
Ensuring stock is maintained and replenished.

To work as an effective member of the multi-disciplinary team.
