About the Role: Nicholas O'Dwyer are seeking to recruit for the position of Principal Consultant to join our Wastewater Department. The candidate should be an experienced engineer with a strong track record of delivering high value infrastructure projects ideally in the water / wastewater sector with the responsibility for managing existing and growing portfolio of clients across multiple locations. Core Role Requirements: As a Principal Consultant you will be responsible for leading a team of engineers and technicians Lead and advise across the design and delivery arena of our wastewater services projects from initial conception through to completion. You will be responsible for managing resources and progress across various project such as programme management, tender management, business sector management. You will be responsible for managing department commercials and growing our portfolios for continued growth. Bringing your expertise, you will be responsible to manage and develop additional competencies such as financial management and/or strategic management. You will be responsible for managing processes to ensure compliance with current technical standards. Able to create, track and deliver multiple plans for multiple teams. Experienced in fostering a working environment which supports co-operation, collaboration, diversity and inclusion, ownership, and initiative. As a Leader you will be responsible to lead group and social dynamics to build effective and proactive working relationships. You will act as a mentor to junior engineers across the organisation. Lead client engagements and provide technical delivery and assurance of projects. Other tasks as required as the role evolves. Qualifications and Experience: - Experience of circa 15 yrs.+ delivering infrastructure projects, preferably in the wastewater sector. You will be third level qualified or equivalent. Chartered Engineer or member of a professional body - essential Well-developed and proven technical competence with a background in Water or Wastewater preferred. Experienced People Leader with a proven ability to mentor and develop team Good time management skills, ability to prioritise and delegating work. Excellent clear and concise communications working as part of a multi-disciplinary and multi-cultural team.
