Detailed job description and main responsibilities
The post holder will work with a wide range of clinical and non-clinical stakeholders both in the trust and externally. A great candidate should be able to operate effectively in a flexible, demanding and sometimes uncertain environment, as well as challenge existing views to foster productive debates on complex issues.
The team operates a standard Monday to Friday, with flexible working options available.

Education and qualifications
Essential criteria
1. Educated to masters' level or equivalent level of experience of working at a senior level in specialist area.
Knowledge
Essential criteria
1. Health and care sector knowledge.
2. Understanding of the background to and aims of current healthcare policy and appreciation of the implications to the Trust.
3. Appreciation of the relationship between NHS England, Hertfordshire and West Essex ICS and our Trust.
4. Project or change management best practice.
Experience
Essential criteria
1. Experience of working in the health and care sector.
2. Programme leadership experience.
3. Experience of engagement, event planning and facilitation of discussions with multiple stakeholders.
4. Experience of business planning, delivery and support.
5. Experience of business case development.
6. Proven ability to prioritise and organise workload in complex programmes and competing tasks.
Desirable criteria
1. Experience of working for the NHS Trust.
