Job Responsibilities:
1. Lead customer projects involving all areas of project management, from concept to industrialisation, with the intent of winning new business.
2. Work with all parts of the NPI process, including design, development, and hands-on prototype & testing.
3. Build and maintain relationships with key people across the business to support the Application Engineering role and support customers.
4. Some travel to customer sites may be required.
Qualifications:
1. You have a degree in Engineering (preferably Mechanical) and a few years of engineering experience.
2. You have experience with digital design tools, e.g., CAD, FEA.
3. You can communicate effectively and concisely, both internally and to customers.
4. You understand the importance of finding out customer needs and requirements to make projects run successfully.
5. You are resilient in the face of challenges and can problem-solve effectively.
6. You relish the challenge of leading projects from concept to production.
7. You enjoy managing all aspects of a project to deliver a successful outcome (relevant experience of introducing new products is advantageous).
8. You’re curious about the multifaceted aspects of product engineering and actively enjoy testing and prototyping.
