Chisenhale Art Place is an arts education charity in Tower Hamlets. Founded by artists in 1980 and occupying a former factory on Chisenhale Road, it is home to three distinct initiatives; Chisenhale Dance Space, Chisenhale Gallery, and Chisenhale Studios. As a whole, C.A.P provides extensive opportunities for audiences and communities near and far to participate, learn, and engage.
As a vibrant arts organisation, we provide affordable studios, artist-led exhibitions, performances, and community programmes in the London Borough of Tower Hamlets.
Alongside the diverse programming of its independent member organisations, C.A.P continues to serve individuals from all backgrounds in Tower Hamlets and beyond. Last year, C.A.P delivered its highly successful Future Artists Festival, which delivered workshops to young people within the borough, and a Street Party which was attended by over 800 members of the community. Within the last year, C.A.P has built partnerships with local grassroots organisations to build upon its promise to offer tangible support to its community stakeholders.
This is an exciting time to join our organisation, as we go through a period of reinvigoration to secure the future of our organisation.
