Cambian Merida is a new service and will consists of five Registered childrens homes, one being a two bedded high dependency provision operating 52 weeks of the year alongside on-site educational support. Main duties of the job We are seeking academically strong candidates to support and enhance the psychological care of children and young people within Cambian Healthcare by assisting qualified psychologists in the delivery and evaluation of evidence-based interventions that meet Cambian Healthcare objectives, national strategic and policy guidelines, commissioner requirements and user and carer needs and expectations. You will have a good understanding of the role of therapeutic boundaries and the importance of evidence-based interventions. Patience and commitment are essential, but above all youll be someone with a genuine desire to help others. We are looking for someone with a good degree in Psychology and preferably previous experience within an Assistant Psychologist role.
