Our client is the UK subsidiary of a large, international, family-owned engineering company based in Wellesbourne. Specialising in providing innovative fastening and assembly solutions, they work with major UK automotive and construction clients. Due to continued success, they are now seeking a Sales Support Administrator to support their Business Development team with both customer communications and administration.
This is a part-time position (spread across 5 days per week) that offers stability, variety, and an excellent working environment with the backing of a global group.
Key Responsibilities
• Provide day-to-day administrative support to the Business Development (BD) team
• Respond to customer enquiries and website leads
• Assist customers using online and paper catalogues to find product solutions
• Dispatch technical drawings, CAD files, and product samples
• Maintain the UK sample stock room and replenish from global sites as needed
• Support the planning of meetings, “Tech Days,” and office visits (travel, hotels, hospitality)
• Keep the weekly team activity plan and holiday planner up to date
• Support with branded gifts, clothing, and marketing materials
• Provide ad-hoc admin support to the Office Manager and Managing Director
• Handle light intercompany admin such as visa letters and directory updates
Key Skills & Experience
• Proven admin or sales support experience, ideally in automotive, manufacturing, or construction
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office 365 (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Teams)
• Experience with SAP or CRM systems is desirable
• Strong organisation and multitasking abilities
• A proactive, can-do attitude with a hands-on approach
• Genuine interest in how things work
