Our client, a well-known & growing business based in Guildford, is looking for a Trainee Payroll Assistant to join their Accountancy team.
Job Description
Trainee Payroll Assistant - Guildford
1. Process weekly payroll
2. Save timesheets in PDF and JPEG formats
3. Add timesheets manually into the current payroll system
4. Raise self bills and umbrella invoices
5. Raise sales invoices through the system for sending out PDFs
6. Add expenses for contractors as necessary
7. Perform new starter checks
8. Onboard new clients as required
9. Set up payment runs
10. Process payments from Sage accounts
11. Handle contractor/client queries via phone or email
12. Send statements of accounts to clients as needed
13. Assist the Accounts Manager as required
