About the role
Responsible for ensuring Maintenance delivery, exceptional service, and financial delivery across the Booker DC’s in line with budget holders’ expectations. Aligning processes and ways of working where possible to Tesco’s to deliver simpler operation or savings. Ensuring our systems perform in the most beneficial way for the Booker facilities Management team.
You will be responsible for
Following our Business Code of Conduct and always acting with integrity and due diligence and have these specific risk responsibilities:
* Working closely with the LMM to ensure operational and performance delivery to plan
* Be the lead for Tesco Property In the Booker/BRP sites and stakeholders (GM/MT/Facilities team)
* Building, maintaining and delivering Improvement plan to align where possible to Tesco distribution standards
* Identify process and delivery improvement opportunities
* Deliver periodic Contract and GR spend forecasts
* Being responsible for contracts management of any Booker DC exclusive contracts
* Contract Management, scheduling and ensuring adherence to Contractor Planned Maintenance and spend
* Working closely with Procurement and contracts team In ensuring supplier are right for Booker DC and DOA and CPA are In place and Booker are considered In tenders going forward. contracts are fit for purpose
* Ensuring accuracy of recharge and full costs transparency and scrutiny
* Work with multiple stakeholders across Booker, Distribution, Property H+S and Operational risk
* Being a custodian of health and safety, ensuring values are embraced across the estate
* Delivering Audit excellence
* Supporting delivery of consistent performance of maintenance on all verisae active sites In the Booker DC portfolio
* Complex Issues resolution around technical solution or more complicated works that require direct contractor management or multiple suppliers
* Building Annual plan for Capital recommendations between contractor and Booker DC property team
* Workflow and won management contractor delivery within service levels
* Asset Tag database compliance and adherence to Group Audit principles
* Detail knowledge of SALA audit process with implementation into the Booker DC as a priority
* Ensuring sites and technicians use Verisae effectively and monitor the end to end process highlighting shortfalls
* Ensuring processes are in place to manage the unique business model in Booker DC by being open to exploring solutions outside our standard business model
* Setting up NWT for complex issues ensuring all stakeholders are engaged and onboard
