What you would do in this role Performing Fatigue and Damage Tolerance (F&DT) calculations of Aircraft Components (Fuselage, Wing, HT/VT) Perform Spectrum generation. Calculation of Equivalent Stress (Fatigue and Crack Propagation), Understanding of Mission Profiles, Rain flow counting, Miner’s Rules Calculation of Stress Concentration Factor (Kt) Applying static and fatigue design values as applicable Performing analysis using MSC – Fatigue, MSC – Patran/Nastran, MSC – Marc, NASGRO, Hyper works, Franc 3D Compilation of calc results and F&DT reporting using MS office Tools (e.g., Word, power point, Excel) Who are we looking for? Pro-active candidate with good academic background… Overall, 3 to 5 years’ experience. Graduate/Postgraduate (Aerospace/Mechanical/Civil) Knowledge on Aircraft structures. Good understanding of Strength of materials and various failure theories Experience on Helicopter Airframe and/or Nacelle design is added advantage. Very good analytical and reasoning skills Knowledge on VBA and Python are added advantage. Good verbal and written communication skills and Ability to work across different functional teams.
