You'll play a critical role in the successful deployment of retail projects, ensuring all projects are effectively landed in the field, with a focus on understanding and integrating lessons learned to improve processes. You will ensure compliance with company standards and enhance operational efficiency across the retail operations onboard. You'll play a vital role in this, by driving improvements and ensuring projects are delivered. Based in Avonmouth (Bristol) on a hybrid working basis 2-3 days a week plus some travel to ships as required. Compensation – competitive salary, bonus scheme, pension, 4 x life assurance, healthcare, 25 days leave annually (including Christmas shutdown) What you will be doing: Lead the deployment of retail projects on ships, ensuring they are executed according to plan and within the set timelines. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align project objectives with field operations and work closely with field teams to ensure a smooth transition of projects from planning to execution. Monitor and report on project progress, resolving any issues that arise during implementation. Provide hands-on support during the implementation phase, addressing any challenges that may impact operational efficiency. Analyse project outcomes to identify lessons learned and areas for improvement, and communicate lessons learned to relevant stakeholders to enhance future project implementations. Develop and refine processes based on feedback from the field, ensuring continuous improvement in project execution. About you: Strong understanding of retail operations and proven experience in an implementation role, preferably within the cruise industry or multisite retail environments. Excellent organisational and coordination skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects. simultaneously using project management principles and best practices. Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to quickly address and resolve issues in the field. Effective communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working with and influencing diverse teams across various locations. Experience in working with remote teams, with a focus on ensuring compliance and operational efficiency. Demonstrated ability to analyse project outcomes and integrate lessons learned into future processes. Tenacity, focus and resilience to drive change and deliver results.
