WeDo has recently partnered with a global manufacturing organisation who are currently going through a large scale IT Transformation and are in the market for a Data Governance Specialist.
The Data Governance Analyst will help implement and maintain data governance policies, standards, and procedures. They ensure data is properly managed, follows guidelines, and complies with laws. This role works with teams like data stewards, IT, legal, and business units to maintain data quality and integrity.
You will have the following experience and skillset:
* Proven experience in data governance, data management, or related roles.
* Good understanding of data governance frameworks and data quality principles.
* Familiarity with data management tools and technologies (e.g., data catalogues).
* Tooling experience with Power BI, Databricks etc. is a big plus.
* Interest in progressing into a BI role is a plus.
* The client will be implementing the latest Microsoft data stack in the coming months - so any exposure or desire to work on Fabric or Purview is a big bonus.

* Have great interpersonal skills and work well with team members and key stakeholders.
* Genuinely passionate about quality and be a true advocate.
There will be an expectation to be onsite in West London, London - 2 days per week. The rest of the time, you will be working fully remote. Candidates must have a right to work in the UK, no sponsorship is on offer.
The role is paying up to £65k for the right candidate + bonus + 30 days holiday (+ bank holidays).
