Your Responsibilities
Tasks for this role include:
1. Support production in successfully resolving quality concerns with the minimum disruption to production, including participating in daily meetings; training team members on trimming processes; reviewing the analysis of defect causes and implementing the corrective action.
2. Provide advice to the site in relation to quality of products and processes, including accept/reject decisions on products.
3. Actively assist with inspection of products in accordance with quality specifications as required including first offs, in process checks and last off measurement and Inspection.
4. Complete daily and monthly checks relating to patrol inspections; checks within Metrology; product and process audits; Goods Inwards inspections whilst ensuring faults and compliance data is captured.
5. Monitor status of all calibrated equipment and assist in completing calibrations as required, plus the statistical analysis of scrap and non-conforming product by following the correct process.
6. Completing certificate of analysis (C of A’s) including traceability to raw material, and evaluating all Olympus customer returns and providing feedback and advice to the relevant teams.
7. Self-management and effective resolution of internal quality concerns, including participation in material review board (MRB) and root cause meetings.
8. To work as a team to help complete and action any KPI’s for your team and site and to participate in 6S Continuous Improvement activities.
Your Qualifications
Essential
* Experience of working in a manufacturing environment.
Desirable
* Experience of a quality role in a manufacturing environment.
* Experience of Geometric Dimensions & Tolerances.
* Experience of using Measuring Tools.
