We’re looking for a confident and ambitious Customer Service Advisor to join our client’s manufacturing business in Driffield. As a Customer Service Advisor, you will handle a variety of customer requests and assist individuals in placing orders through inbound and outbound calls or email. Your goal is to address enquiries efficiently, effectively, and professionally.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Handle incoming and outbound calls.
2. Answer questions about products and the company.
3. Enter and update customer orders and information.
4. Maintain records of calls and customer notes in the company’s CRM database.
5. Escalate issues to the technical team or relevant departments as needed.
6. Provide information about new products, clearance lines, and existing items.
7. Track and process orders, invoices, credit notes, and collections.
8. Provide quotations and check product availability.
9. Handle payment transactions.
10. Ask questions to understand customer needs and provide appropriate advice.
11. Perform administrative tasks as assigned by the Customer Service Manager or senior team members.
Key Skills:
1. Proven experience as a Customer Service/Telesales representative.
2. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
3. Ability to handle challenging situations.
4. Track record of successfully meeting targets over the phone.
5. Active listening skills.
6. Friendly, outgoing personality with a ‘can-do’ attitude.
