The MDT work closely together to provide high quality. The ward has a keen focus on therapeutic activity and engagement and as Ward Manager you would be key in ensuring positive experiences for patients and staff alike. You will become part of a supportive multi-disciplinary team, with focus on assessment of need, treatment, and recovery, while placing the patient at the centre of care planning. We provide inpatient care for men aged between 18-65 years old. Highbury Hospital provides high quality care 24 hours a day 7 days a week to people from Nottingham City and County who are experiencing a range of mental health and emotional difficulties. This role is within adult mental health services, additionally on site there are services from MHSOP and SSD Mental Health services. We are seeking a proactive, compassionate, caring and recovery focused Ward Manager with excellent communication skills to lead a male Acute Ward based at Highbury Hospital. As the Ward Manager you will be overseeing care approaches and systems of delivery. You will be pivotal in providing strong leadership throughout the wider team ensuring that high standards are maintained and improved upon. This excellent opportunity also provides the successful candidate to attend a variety of professional meetings, working collaboratively with the MDT and develop knowledge of clinical governance. You will need to have excellent interpersonal skills and an ability to deliver a challenging agenda, including the management and leadership of a nursing team delivering high quality nursing services.
