Test & Evaluation Engineer Company: Boeing Defence United Kingdom Limited Boeing Test & Evaluation UK (BT&E UK) is currently looking for Test & Evaluation Engineer to join the team in RAF Lossiemouth, UK, Birmingham, UK or Salisbury, UK. BT&E UK is responsible for the delivery of safe and efficient test operations of Boeing products in the UK. The Test & Evaluation Integration Engineer role will provide engineering support to the E7 Wedgetail test team during both planning and execution phases of ground and flight test. This will involve coordination of internal/external stakeholders, managing the interface with supporting functions and engagement with the Flight Test Programme Manager to support decision making and status reporting. At the team level, the role will assist with finance, labour tracking, resource forecasting and research to assist strategic decision making. The role regularly interfaces with various programme teams to uphold the BT&E UK Control Account Manager (CAM) responsibilities for current and future work. The successful candidate should be able to: Coordinate stakeholders and resources in support of delivery of a complex test programme. Communicate clearly with the customer, suppliers and other internal functions Coordinate Engineering functions from across Boeing to enable complex testing to be conducted in compliance with UK regulation Work with minimal direct supervision, including being able to identify problem areas and liaise across functions to develop solutions independently Process results, collate information and present findings confidently with justification appropriate to the audience Interpret regulation and generate compliant processes and procedures in support of aircraft operation and testing Required competencies: Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science A clear understanding of the systems engineering lifecycle A basic understanding of Test and Evaluation processes and how it relates to Military Aircraft Regulation in the UK Knowledge of aircraft systems, including mission and communications systems, applicable to fixed wing military aircraft Knowledge of the interactions between departments/disciplines necessary to deliver a complex test programme (e.g. security, operations, supply chain) Ability to communicate clearly using Microsoft Office products Experience of working in a highly-regulated engineering environment Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships internally and externally, demonstrating both diplomacy and assertiveness Preferred competencies: Experience of working in a Combined Test Team Experience of working in a production/test environment Understanding of Programme Management practices Experience in working with international collaborative organizations or partnerships What Boeing offers you: The Boeing benefits package goes above and beyond, focusing on your physical, emotional, financial and social well-being.
