We are looking for an experienced Spa Therapist to join our Spa team at The Barnsdale.
Our hotel overlooks the beautiful Rutland landscape with a picturesque courtyard, a kitchen brigade providing fine dining using many ingredients sourced from the wealth of fine produce found in the locality. Encircled by idyllic surroundings on the north shore of Rutland Water, the hotel is a tranquil rural haven, close to the charming market towns of Oakham and Uppingham.
We have a newly opened spa, accompanied by a contemporary clubhouse with a welcoming reception designed for comfort, indulgence and relaxation.
Please note: This is a Full Time, 40 hours per week role.

You will:
* Have at least 1 years' experience and come from a Spa background with an NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in massage, or a NVQ Level 2 in Facials as a minimum.
* Be working in our brand new fully stocked treatment pods, which overlook the natural landscape, to promote relaxation and serenity to our guests.
* Provide consistent professional treatments in accordance with protocol and accepted certification practices.
* Be flexible with your schedule, supporting the needs of the Spa.
* Properly care for equipment and use proper amounts of product to assist with cost controls.
* Have complete knowledge and understanding of all services and products offered.
* Uphold the standards of sanitation as directed by law and the Spa’s policies and procedures.
* Perform preparation work, properly clean and restock room as required.
* Communicate to management any and all occurrences involving staff or guests in the Spa that require attention.
* Promote the Spa, treatments, services and retail, as well as programs, promotions and/or discounts available.
* Handle guests’ questions and concerns professionally and courteously.
* Provide accurate, appropriate and immediate responses to all requests by guests.
* Maintain a positive attitude and contribute toward a quality work environment.
* Regularly attend, participate in and support training and staff meetings for the Spa.
* Ensure all Hygiene, Health and Safety procedures and legislation is adhered to.
