My client, who is well renowned for their innovation, design, and manufacturing skills, has an excellent reputation and is looking to add strength to their team in the form of a CNC Operator.
The Production Operator is responsible for machining parts to a high specification within specified tolerances.
As a CNC Operator, you will:
1. Set and run CNC machines to include Lathes and VMC machines.
2. Ensure safety within the work area.
3. Meet quality standards.
4. Operate other manual equipment.
What you'll need to succeed:
1. Mechanical Engineering Apprenticeship OR NVQ Level 3 or relevant work experience in a manufacturing environment.
2. Knowledge of CNC manufacturing techniques.
3. Ability to set and run either milling or turning CNC machinery.
4. Good numeracy and literacy skills.
5. Ability to use measuring equipment accurately and repeatedly.
Experience running manual machines including lathes, drills, and grinding is not essential but beneficial.
