This role involves frequent international travel, occasionally with minimal advance notice. When not travelling, you will follow a hybrid work model, splitting your time between remote work and regular in-person visits to ELGA headquarters in Lane End, High Wycombe.

If so, we have a fantastic opportunity to join our leading, well-respected water technologies company, where you will play a pivotal role within the ELGA LabWater's sales team.
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Global Account Manager with a strong "hunter" mentality to drive sales and establish new client relationships in the clinical, R&D life science, and healthcare laboratory sectors. This individual will be responsible for selling advanced water purification solutions to drug companies, research laboratories, hospitals, universities, research centres, and partners worldwide. The ideal candidate is a results-driven professional with a proven track record in B2B sales, particularly in penetrating new markets and opening new accounts. This role is critical to our business growth and requires an individual with a deep understanding of the industry, exceptional negotiation skills, and a passion for driving sales.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Prospecting & New Business Development: Identify, qualify, and develop new business opportunities across global markets within the clinical, life science, and healthcare industries.
2. Sales Strategy & Execution: Develop and execute a strategic plan to approach and win new accounts, focusing on lead generation, client engagement, and sales closures.
3. Account Management: Cultivate long-term relationships with clients, ensuring satisfaction with products and services, identifying additional sales opportunities, and serving as the main point of contact.
4. Product Knowledge: Develop an in-depth understanding of water purification products, effectively communicate their value propositions, and tailor solutions to meet specific customer needs.
5. Collaboration: Work closely with the local sales, marketing, and product development teams to deliver customised solutions that meet the evolving needs of the market.
6. Market Analysis: Monitor industry trends, competitor activity, and market demand to identify and capitalise on emerging opportunities.
7. Reporting & Forecasting: Maintain accurate sales records, track performance metrics, and provide regular sales forecasts to senior management.
Your Skills:
1. Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales leading position, Laboratory instrumentation, Life Sciences, Engineering, or related field.
2. Minimum of 8 years of experience in a global sales or account management role, with a focus on B2B sales in the pharmaceutical, healthcare, or laboratory sectors.
3. Proven track record as a "hunter," with demonstrated success in opening new accounts and achieving or exceeding sales targets.
4. Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
5. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
6. Ability to work independently and travel globally as required.
7. Experience with Salesforce CRM software and Google Office Suite.
