About the role This position plays an important role as a Coordinator within the Civil Operations Team. The position requires the occupant to plan, coordinate, prioritise, ensure quality control, supervise and deliver the activities of designated service areas in a safe and efficient manner to meet Council's requirements. The position will require knowledge and use of hand-held technology devices and future technology enhancements. The jobholder will also be required to work from any of Council's Depots. The position requires a commitment to ongoing training, flexibility and multi-skilling within the Civil Operations Team to develop and maintain the required skills and competencies of the position. Essential criteria A tertiary qualification in Civil Construction, Frontline Management, Project Management or relevant field Extensive experience in the coordination of day-to-day field operations, including the supervision of field staff and contractors undertaking civil works Experience in successfully managing multi-skilled work teams and projects Demonstrated sound written and verbal communication skills Work Safely in the Construction Industry (White) Card Demonstrated knowledge and commitment to WHS practices and EEO principles Demonstrated computer and Microsoft Office skills Current Class C driver licence Salary: The salary for this position ranges from $90,063.00 - $104,251.00 per annum, plus 11% Superannuation, and will be negotiated commensurate with the skills, qualifications and experience of the preferred applicant.
