Location: Shakespeare Road Medical Practice
Shift Patterns: 8am - 6.30pm, Monday to Friday

Qualifications:
* Registered RGN with 1 year post grad experience.
* Ability to work core hours.
* Flexibility for cover.
* Up-to-date skills and experience in the full range of practice nursing services, including the nurse-led management of patients with chronic diseases.
What you'll need:
* A minimum of 6 months paid experience in an Acute hospital as Practice Nurse's ward environment within the last 3 years.
* Good IT skills ability to utilise appropriate electronic systems to accurately record data.
* Ability to work autonomously without supervision.
* Ability to meet deadlines and to work under pressure.
* Ability to adapt to the demands of a constantly changing environment.
* Aware of accountability of own role and other roles in a nurse led service.
* Knowledge of health promotion strategies and awareness of clinical governance issues within primary care.
* Knowledge of patient group directions and associated policy.
* Knowledge of the NMC Code of Conduct.
* Knowledge of EmisWeb, Docman, ICE.
* Knowledge of needs of patients with long term conditions.
* Knowledge of public health issues in the local area.
* Aware of local and national policy.
* Aware of issues within the wider health economy.
