The Role: Oversee day-to-day logistics operations, including import/export by air, sea, and road for global and domestic shipments. Collaborate with the logistics manager and a close-knit team to ensure the timely and accurate delivery of products. Act as a liaison between the UK-based operations and international colleagues, particularly the German office. Ensure compliance with all relevant post-Brexit customs regulations and documentation requirements. Work closely with the sales and customer service teams to maintain high client satisfaction and smooth communication. Address logistical challenges proactively and adapt to the dynamic nature of food product transportation. The Ideal Candidate: Proven experience in logistics, with a strong focus on import/export operations. Familiarity with customs processes and post-Brexit regulatory changes. Expertise in handling perishable goods or food products is highly desirable. Proficiency in Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and advanced Excel skills. Strong organisational abilities and attention to detail, coupled with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. A team player with a positive attitude, capable of thriving under pressure.
