We have a fantastic job opportunity for a Senior Planning Consultant to join our Belfast office.
About the Role
Applicants should have an RTPI or IPI accredited degree / postgraduate qualification in Town Planning, with around 5 years of postgraduate professional experience. While this is a post in which we expect the successful candidate to be based full time in our Belfast office, hybrid working arrangements will be considered.
About You
The successful candidate will be required to manage their own projects, contribute to the management of planning applications and appeals, prepare planning appraisals and development plan submissions, carry out research, and generally play an active role in all of the planning consultancy aspects of our business.
The successful candidate will be ambitious and commercially minded, show attention to detail and possess excellent written and oral communication skills. The applicant must possess a driving license and have access to a car to allow them to carry out their duties in the position.
The following core skills are also required:
• Excellent IT skills including MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint
• Excellent planning and organisational skills
• Excellent problem-solving and negotiation skills
• Ability to manage a varied workload and meet strict deadlines
