Providing services to our Mental Health Inpatient Wards at the Redwoods Centre in Shrewsbury.
Main duties of the job
* Liaise with the Inpatient Mental Health Services to identify people who smoke admitted to the wards
* Assess and advise patients that they can stop smoking, and that support is available.
* Recommend an individual quit plan, including behavioural support and Nicotine Replacement.
* Advise and educate on the use of vapes as a tool for tobacco abstinence and cessation.
* Engage in ongoing Quality Improvement as part of a continuous change cycle.
