Pepper Advantage is a leading specialist loan servicer in the UK and we are currently seeking an enthusiastic Payroll & Benefits Administrator to join our growing team in Uxbridge, London.

You will assist our Payroll Specialist and HR Business Partners to deliver a robust, accurate and timely payroll and benefits administration service.
This is full time hybrid role with an expectation of three days per week office attendance.
As a Payroll & Benefits Administrator, your main responsibilities will include:
* Assisting the payroll specialist in delivering an accurate and timely payroll and benefits administration service for UK and Ireland
* Assisting the payroll specialist in preparing and submitting the payroll and benefits information to the payroll provider
* Verifying and approving reports prior to processing.
* Responding to employee queries in relation to their payroll and provide them with accurate and timely information.
* Providing relevant information to external auditors as required for payroll auditing processes.
* Providing reliable management reporting on Payroll.
* Assisting in the management and review of existing employee benefits to ensure information is complete and accurate.
* Managing the relationship with benefit providers including health insurance and pension.
* Engaging with outsourced benefit providers to provide administration support, including renewal of policies.
* Assisting the Payroll Specialist to audit memberships and deal with vendor enquiries.
Essential Skills:
* A clear understanding of payroll laws, taxes and PAYE procedures
* A clear understanding of benefits administration
* Strong verbal communication, including active listening, for accurately answering employee questions
* Strong mathematical skills for calculating taxes and employee wages
* Strong computer literacy skills, including excellent working knowledge of Excel
* Self-motivated with great organisational skills to meet deadlines
* The initiative and ambition to develop themselves professionally
* Ability to plan and adjust work based on thorough understanding of requirements and priorities and seeks clarification and direction as appropriate
