Job Description
We're recruiting for a Governance and Risk Manager to join us. We're offering a competitive base salary and good benefits package.
You will play a crucial role in assisting the business in adhering to our operational risk and resilience framework. You will manage risk events, issues, and remediation processes, ensuring that our operations remain robust and compliant.
The team are generally in the office 2 days per week.
What you'll be doing:
1. Assisting in the adherence to the operational risk and resilience framework
2. Identifying on-going risk events and near miss trends
3. Managing risk events, issues, and remediation processes
4. Improving processes and controls within the business
5. Prioritising and managing multiple tasks and stakeholders effectively
6. Ensuring compliance with internal and external regulations
Qualifications
Who we're looking for:
1. Experience in operational risk, second line, or assurance roles
2. Background in financial services; asset management would be advantageous but not essential
3. Strong understanding of risk and controls
4. Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to changing circumstances
5. Excellent stakeholder management skills
