The de Ferrers Trust is a mixed multi-academy trust based in East Staffordshire and South Derbyshire. The Trust currently consists of seven schools (three secondaries and four primaries) educating approximately 5,500 students between the ages of 3 and 19 years. The Trust employs around 700 members of staff.
All of our schools are in strong, or strengthening positions. Our culture is one where there is a growing sense of community, and where every individual is both valued and valuable. We are firmly committed to achieving the very best for every child, but we also work to ensure that colleagues feel as engaged and fulfilled in their work as our students do in their learning. We want people to feel empowered, motivated and belong to something meaningful.
This is, we believe, what makes working for our Trust so exciting. Many of the elements that are needed to take our Trust to the next level are in place and, with a new Trust Strategy being launched imminently, there is also a desire to embrace change and new thinking to support our development.
At The de Ferrers Trust we believe in working hard, being kind and choosing wisely. We are privileged to work in communities where we have a positive impact on children’s lives and future every day.
