About the Role: This role is within the Enterprise Team, focused on our online competitions platform, Win Happy. The role reports to the Performance Marketing Director. We have grown revenues significantly in the last 2 years and are now investing in new additions to the marketing team to drive that growth even further.
We’re a close-knit team of commercial marketeers where our consumers really are at the heart of everything we do. We work every day to find new and innovative ways to add magical moments to our consumers' everyday lives, through our life-changing competitions like Make Me A Winner, Cash Register and more.
Key Responsibilities: As the first CRM/retention expert in our team, you will create innovative customer experiences that improve how we reach and communicate with our consumers with data/insight driven triggers and campaigns that build stronger 1-1 audience relationships. You will:
1. Coordinate and execute retention campaigns for competition players.
2. Create marketing automations and journeys to ensure a better user experience.
3. Manage daily communications via email, push and content cards for our competitions.
4. Produce engaging copy that really brings to life our competitions and those moments of magic.
5. Create and design technical briefs to ensure marketing journeys focus on our 3 key objectives: acquire new players, reduce churn and grow engagement.
6. Coordinate scheduling of all campaigns.
7. Deliver regular clear and concise reports regarding performance and recommendations.
8. Help share and apply learnings across multi-channel campaigns.
9. Become a subject matter expert in the Braze platform and provide training and guidance to marketing teams across Bauer Media.
What We’re Looking For:
You’ll need proven digital marketing experience with evidence of success from previous campaigns and results, specifically email and push notifications. We’ll need you to present examples of how you have improved customer experiences at interview stage.
* Experience in B2C email marketing with a strong commercial mindset.
* Experience of building automation into email marketing.
* Strong understanding of personalisation and segmentation.
* An in-depth understanding and extensive experience in creating action-driven customer journeys via email.
* Good working knowledge of HTML would be a bonus.
* Experience using Braze as a CRM tool is strongly preferred but isn’t essential.
