Overview MCS Group is delighted to be working with a forward-thinking and rapidly growing legal services team, as they seek to recruit a Legal Operations Commercial Senior Associate. This role offers an exciting opportunity for a legal professional with strong commercial contract experience to join a dynamic and multi-disciplinary team delivering exceptional business outcomes across a variety of high-impact projects. Key Responsibilities Commercial Contract Support Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of commercial contracts, ensuring accuracy, risk mitigation, and compliance with client objectives. Negotiation & Escalation Management Follow predefined negotiation frameworks while handling escalations of complex cases. Ensure appropriate subject matter expertise is sought and resolutions are achieved efficiently. Quality Assurance Review legal documentation for consistency, completeness, and quality in line with regulatory and client standards. Client Engagement Support client outreach initiatives across multiple regulations and contract types, providing clear and professional communication throughout. Case & Document Analysis Analyse legal and commercial documents to extract key information, identify anomalies, and support categorisation and remediation work. Team Support & Leadership Provide guidance to junior team members and assist in resolving complex client interactions, contributing to a collaborative and high-performing environment. Workload & Project Management Independently manage personal caseloads while reporting progress and identifying any emerging issues. Flexibly support a diverse portfolio of clients and projects. Process Improvement Identify and implement opportunities to streamline and improve legal operations processes and client service delivery.
