Are you passionate about providing evidence-based medical education and improving patient CV outcomes in primary care? We have an exciting opportunity for a dedicated and knowledgeable Clinical Educator to join our team.
This role reports into the CVRM Field Medical Leader working as part of the Field Medical Team. The CE team work in close collaboration with the wider medical and cross-functional teams. As a non-promotional field-based role, the CE is responsible for engaging with primary care stakeholders to identify unmet areas of medical education needs. This is a full-time field-based position covering the South West of England with travel involved.
About the Role
Location: The role covers the South West of England from Birmingham to Cornwall (not Wales).
Key Responsibilities:
* Engage with primary care stakeholders to identify medical education needs
* Develop and deliver Novartis-approved medical education to healthcare professionals
* Serve as an internal subject matter expert on the assigned disease area
* Deliver external medical education at meetings in line with Novartis guidance and policies, and ABPI code of practice
* Collaborate with key external stakeholders to identify opportunities to improve patient access and outcomes
* Respond to unsolicited requests for medical education from HCPs
* Utilise digital channels for virtual engagement and conduct in-person educational discussions
* Manage administrative responsibilities and adhere to compliance guidelines
Requirements:
* Minimum – Clinical / Scientific-based degree
* Preferred background in nursing, pharmacy or medicine
* Clinical experience in managing patients in Lipids/Cardiovascular area
* Experience in medical education, training and presenting is essential
* Experience of working in a Pharmaceutical company is preferred
* Working knowledge of the NHS is essential
* Excellent communication, interpersonal, and influencing skills, with the ability to communicate effectively across different channels to a variety of audiences
