Job Description / Role
The Commissioning Engineer, reporting to the Commissioning Team Leader, is responsible for undertaking the delivery of assigned commissioning tasks in a safe and effective manner, in line with commissioning process requirements.
Responsibilities:
1. Experience in Mechanical Handling.
2. Execution of arrangements for controlling, witnessing, recording, and assessing the results of commissioning tests which may affect safety.
3. Delivering the commissioning work scope to an agreed strategy and plan in a timely and cost-effective manner.
4. Ensuring a proactive and balanced approach to safety (nuclear, radiological, conventional, and environmental) to optimize safety during commissioning.
5. Ensuring input to other project processes is incorporated, for example, design, HAZOP, risk, contract, estimating, and knowledge management.
Essential Experience & Qualifications:
1. Nuclear Mechanical systems commissioning experience.
2. Minimum - HNC/HND in Engineering related subject or equivalent.
3. Experience in nuclear commissioning.
4. Project management knowledge, preferably APM member.
5. Calculation production using Excel.
Security Clearance:
The ability to obtain BPSS and P4 Pass is essential for continuance in the role. #J-18808-Ljbffr
