Job Title: Fabricator Welder

Main Purpose:
We are seeking a skilled Fabricator Welder to join our team on a permanent basis. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in fabrication and welding duties with a strong emphasis on quality. TIG, MIG, and Stick welding experience is preferable.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Fabrication and Welding: Perform TIG, MIG, and Stick welding on mild steel and stainless steel for various systems and clients.
2. Interpretation of Documentation: Read, interpret, and fabricate from sketches, diagrams, engineering drawings, specifications, weld symbols, bills of materials, and other written instructions or procedures.
3. Steel Construction Layout: Efficiently lay out steel construction with a high degree of accuracy prior to welding.
4. Component Handling: Measure, cut, bend, and weld steel components for construction.
5. Installation and Repair: Include installation and repair works as part of your duties.
Key Tasks and Abilities:
1. Experience: Minimum of 5 years in a similar role.
2. Valid Site Card: SPA/CSCS/CCNSG.
3. Team Collaboration: Work effectively as part of a small, well-established team and with other trades.
4. Technical and Practical Skills: Strong technical skills combined with practical know-how, with a willingness to pass on skills and knowledge.
5. Initiative and Teamwork: Ability to work to timescales, using own initiative both individually and as part of a team.
6. Positive Attitude: A positive and proactive approach is crucial.
7. Communication: Good communication skills are essential.
8. Flexibility: Flexibility with overtime working is required.
9. Previous Codings: Proof of previous codings is beneficial.
10. Travel Willingness: Willingness to work out of town occasionally is a bonus.
11. Supervisory Experience: Supervisory experience is an advantage but not required. Opportunities for career advancement will arise based on skill set and leadership qualities.
12. Quality, Health and Safety, and COSHH Knowledge: Candidates are expected to have a broad skill base and knowledge of these areas.
