Teacher of Food Technology – Job Description

1. Full time and permanent – MPS/UPS
2. January 2025 start
3. Lesson planning and developing resources
4. Deliver an exciting and relevant curriculum for students
5. Curriculum planning
6. Acting as form tutor to selected students
7. Track students progress and develop learning plans if necessary
8. Liaise with parents/guardians where appropriate

Qualifications and Experience – Teacher of Food Technology

13. Minimum 2:1 or above in related degree
14. UK QTS status obtained

17. Knowledge of writing lesson plans, creating resources and marking work
18. Excellent communication skills
19. Be able to motivate all students
