The vacancy is a result of a structure change within the organisation, will report into the head of finance and will form part of the management accounting team.
The Responsibilities
The purpose of this role is to support the business in the prompt and accurate production of management accounting information. The role holder will work with various stakeholders within the business and will be responsible for producing meaningful information that the board can use to make informed decisions.
On a day-to-day basis you can expect to be responsible for the following;
Preparation of monthly management accounts including variance analysis, full commentary and balance sheet and cash flow forecast.
Maintenance and development the suit of management accounting reports.
Investigation of variances within the management accounts and work with colleagues/internal stakeholders to establish explanations.
Work with budget holders to review historical budgets and forecast future financial goals.
