Job Description We are looking for a Principal Flood Risk Consultant to join our growing Water Environment team, in the Regulations and Development sector. As a Principal Flood Risk Consultant you will lead the production of flood risk consenting related documents for our major clients, and manage a small but growing team in the Croydon office. Role responsibilities: Contribute to tenders for complex, high-profile projects and lead the production of flood risk assessments, permits, Section 19 reports, and water resource chapters for EIAs. Collaborate with clients and technical teams on fluvial, coastal, surface water, and drainage flood risk management projects. Build relationships with clients and cross-functional teams. Lead flood risk appraisals and business cases for public and private sector clients. Stay updated on relevant legislation and guidelines to ensure work is compliant and high quality. Use AECOM’s project management systems to deliver quality outputs on time and within budget. Manage team resourcing, development, and performance in collaboration with the regional lead.
