Heat Pump Repair Technician (Technical Support)
Location: Southwest UK (Exeter area preferred)
Working Hours: Full-Time Monday to Friday (some flexibility required for call-outs)

About the Role:
In this role, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of Ground Source Heat Pumps, working across residential and commercial sites to ensure systems operate efficiently and reliably. You will also diagnose and resolve faults over the phone and in person, with travel across the UK, primarily in the South of England.
As part of Kensa’s Technical Support Team, you will play a key role in delivering industry-leading post-installation product support and maintaining our high standards of customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide technical support and fault diagnosis via phone and site visits.
* Diagnose and repair heat pump and system faults across residential and commercial installations.
* Support product alerts, warranty programs, and spare parts management.
* Assist with system commissioning and customer training.
* Work closely with the Technical Support and Sales teams to resolve technical queries.
* Travel across the UK as needed, with some overnight stays required.
* Ensure all work meets health and safety regulations and Kensa’s quality standards.

What You Will Bring:
* Strong background in electrical and mechanical fault diagnosis for heat pumps or other heating technologies.
* City & Guilds/NVQ Level 3 in Heating & Ventilation (or equivalent).
* MCS or equivalent Renewable Energy Certification.
* Knowledge and experience in electrical installation.
* Proficient in multimeter diagnostics for electronic components.
* Strong knowledge of heating systems and their components.
* Experience with mechanical and electronic fault-finding and resolution.
* First Aid and Health & Safety Awareness.
* IT literate (MS Office).
* Please note – due to the nature of this role, a valid UK Driving Licence is essential. Company van will be provided.
