Overview:
For the Supply Chain department, we are looking for a Procurement & Supply Chain Assistant who will join our UK team.
The role will be office-based in Abingdon, Oxfordshire with flexibility to work from home 2 days a week.
Did you finish school, or have you already gained some work experience as an Operational Purchaser? Then you might be the person we are looking for. The role reports directly to the local UK SC lead.

Responsibilities:
1. Raise PRP (project requisition planning) orders for materials
2. Manage the stock levels of the various article groups
3. Raise PRP (project requisition planning) orders for racks
4. Control hire equipment
5. PPE ordering
6. Indirect (Non-project) orders
7. Management of cylinders
8. Plan transport (inbound) PARTS
9. Arrange local transport (outbound)
10. Total Logistic Costs reporting
11. Back-up for SC country lead
Qualifications:
1. Educated to at least A level preferred.
2. Experienced with an ERP (BAAN) system or willingness to learn it.
3. You are professional, cost-conscious, and commercial in your dealings. You are results-oriented, representative, have perseverance, and are eager to learn.
4. You also have good communication skills, persuasive powers, keep an overview, and are stress-resistant.
