Design Coordinator required in Hemel Hempstead GVR Solutions are currently working with a specialist facades contractor who cover a number of cladding remediation works within the residential development sector. This particular client are currently looking for an experienced Design Coordinator to join their well established production team. The responsibilities of the Design Coordinator are: To lead and manage the design team in creation and development. Ensure that all designs meet functional, aesthetic, and performance specifications while adhering to the relevant industry standards. Ensure the team follows a structured product development process. Support team members with design challenges, offering solutions and technical advice where needed. Work closely with the directors to understand their specific needs and provide regular design updates, ensuring a collaborative and transparent design process. Conduct regular team meetings and design reviews to track progress and maintain alignment with the company’s product goals. The Design Manager must have/be: A minimum of 3 years of design managerial experience 3 years of cladding/facade experience Excellent organisational skills. Be able to work to tight deadlines and provide high levels of customer care. Construction/design-related further education preferred Be able to build and maintain internal and external relationships. Have a strong track record of ensuring quality design information is provided in accordance with project requirements. High-level competency with AutoCAD.
