Senior Pricing Analyst £45,000 - £50,000 | East midlands (Hybrid, 9 Days Onsite per Month) The Company This leading travel group is undergoing a commercial transformation, with a renewed focus on pricing, forecasting and customer insights. As part of this shift, they're investing in a newly created analytics function to drive smarter pricing and commercial decision-making across their product portfolio. The Team You'll report directly into the Head of Finance and work closely with the Revenue & Capacity Management team. While it's a standalone pricing role, you'll be supported by adjacent teams like FP&A and finance, and have strong exposure to stakeholders across sales, product and operations. The Role This is a new role focused on owning pricing analytics across the business - consolidating processes currently handled by separate product teams and creating a centralised, insight-led pricing function. You'll drive both day-to-day pricing activity and contribute to strategic projects such as market analysis, promotions and pricing optimisation. Key Responsibilities Own day-to-day pricing analytics across multiple business units. Build pricing models and develop scalable pricing frameworks. Analyse price elasticity and optimise pricing strategies across channels. Deliver competitor and market analysis to support product positioning. Support forecasting efforts alongside the FP&A team (using Anaplan). Engage with stakeholders to understand current pricing models and pain points. Identify drop-offs, opportunities and areas of improvement across the booking funnel. Contribute to promotional pricing strategy and performance evaluation. Key Requirements Proven experience in pricing analytics or a similar commercial analytics role. Strong Excel skills are essential; Power BI is a plus. Experience using SQL, R, Python, or similar tools for data manipulation is desirable. Ability to communicate insights clearly and influence non-technical stakeholders. Confident working independently and managing high-impact pricing decisions. Commercially minded with strong attention to detail. The Benefits Competitive salary up to £50,000.
