Due to our continued growth, we are seeking an Engineering Coordinator to join our team on a permanent basis.
The Engineering Coordinator is responsible for efficiently planning, scheduling, and monitoring various tasks, assignments, and projects within an organisation. This role requires strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
* Plan, organise, and schedule jobs and resources (e.g., personnel, equipment) based on priority, urgency, and deadlines to maximize efficiency and minimise travel time and costs.
* Process and assign work orders to the relevant teams, ensuring each task is assigned accurately with clear instructions and timelines.
* Coordinate with various departments to allocate labour and equipment resources efficiently, reducing delays and optimising productivity.
* Track job progress, address issues in real-time, and make adjustments to schedules to meet deadlines.
* Serve as the point of contact between internal teams and management to ensure seamless communication regarding job statuses, delays, or changes.
* Maintain accurate records of schedules, updates, and job completions in the company's systems.
* Provide daily, weekly, and monthly reports on job completion, delays, productivity, and other KPIs.
* Quickly identify scheduling conflicts and operational inefficiencies and propose effective solutions to avoid disruptions.
* Ensure that service appointments are confirmed and communicated clearly to Technicians.
* Handle rescheduling or cancellations as needed and update all relevant parties accordingly.
Key Experience Required:
* Strong organisational and multitasking skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-centric approach.
* Proficiency in service management software and tools (e.g., CRM systems, scheduling software).
* High level of numeracy.
* High level of literacy.
