To lead the two clinical maternity education teams ensuring that the individual education work streams and the cross-cutting elements and activities are well organised, coordinated and delivered to an excellent standard. 1.1.2. Work as part of the senior education team to review standards of training, programme content and pastoral support for learners taking prompt action to address shortfalls or concerns. 1.1.3. Support and advise ward, department and service line managers in identifying appropriate training programmes to meet the needs of their service as part of the training needs analysis process. 1.1.4. To ensure that training provided internally meets the needs of the service, is in line with best practice and that completion of training is recorded along with any competency assessments as required 1.1.5. Support managers in monitoring the performance of all learners; ensuring they have a clear induction and clinical competencies. They will ensure that each learner is monitored for safe practice and assessed against the Trust and national standards.
