What will you be responsible for?
As a Supervisor, you'll be working within the Maintenance team, supporting them in planning & scheduling work packages for the highway's maintenance teams, along with the supervision of maintenance work of both internal works and supply chain.
Your responsibilities include:
1. Assisting the Technician in achieving and exceeding key business targets and key performance indicators, promoting a culture of integration, best practice, and continual business improvement.
2. Complying with Highways works specification and the integrated management system.
3. Confirming gangs receive morning daily briefings and an end-of-day debrief, along with the completion of all paperwork, acting as a key point of contact for all maintenance applications on handheld devices.
4. Completing on-site inspections, promoting near-miss reporting, collaborating with all supply-chain members to improve health and safety standards & best practices, and reporting incidents/accidents in line with the Kier golden hour process, attending all incidents and completing investigations.
5. Adhering to all health and safety standards across the contract, including the 5 SHE Basics, 10 steps to safe excavation, SSOW/RA / POWRA, delivering all group & contract health & safety briefings to the teams, and signing off and loading to the passport card.
This Role of Supervisor
You hold previous supervisory or line management experience with knowledge of highway works.
You have an SMSTS or SSSTS as well as 12D M7 Lantra.
