* Working Sunday to Thursday, 9.30pm – 6am, 40 hours per week
* Will be working with our Nights Production Team, which has roughly 25 team members
* Responsible for 8 direct reports
* Responsible for ensuring all production related to the site, including Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost and People are actioned correctly and in line with Company processes
Your responsibilities
* Tasks for this role include:
o Supporting the Management team with people management of any direct reports on low level employee relation topics, including risk assessments, return to works, interviews, performance reviews and investigations
o Monitoring, communicating and investigating any issues that prevent KPI’s not being achieved or issues with the standard of quality
o Ensuring materials are available, the delegation of work, components are built to the correct requirements, raising run rates, controlling and distributing PPE and tools
o Deputising for the Shift Leader at times of absence or unavailability
o Setting-up production equipment and automated systems, ensuring these are operated correctly
o Ensuring all quality checks are completed in a timely manner and a right first time method is used; plus completing quality patrol inspections
Minimum Requirements
* Experience of working in a manufacturing environment
* Previous experience of supervising or managing a team
* Ability to use measuring equipment
* Knowledge of lean manufacturing techniques and recognised QC tools
