SEN Teacher
Are you a skilled and dedicated Primary Teacher looking to make a real difference in the lives of children with social, emotional, and behavioural needs? A specialist provision school in Leyland is seeking an experienced educator to join their team and deliver exceptional learning experiences for primary:aged pupils.
This full:time position is for a split Year 4/5 class, with hours from Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM to 4:00 PM. The role is needed to start immediately and has the potential to continue after Christmas. The ideal candidate will be an experienced teacher, as Early Career Teachers (ECTs) are not being considered for this position.

Essential Requirements
* Previous experience teaching children with Special Educational Needs (SEN), including autism spectrum disorders or other complex needs.
* Strong skills in behaviour management and differentiated instruction.
* A valid teaching qualification (QTS or equivalent) with a proven track record in primary education.
* Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and external professionals.
* Two professional references verifying recent teaching experience with SEN pupils.
* An Enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to obtain one.
* Eligibility to work in the UK (sponsorship is not available).

Key Responsibilities
* Teach a split Year 4/5 class, designing and delivering engaging lessons tailored to the needs of children with SEN.
* Work closely with support staff to ensure each child has access to the learning tools they need.

* Maintain regular communication with parents and carers to provide updates on progress.
