We are looking for an experienced Contracts Manager to oversee fire protection projects, with a specific focus for commercial and industrial buildings. You’ll be responsible for end-to-end contract management, working with blue-chip clients, major construction firms, and specialist fire safety contractors to ensure projects are delivered efficiently, on budget, and in compliance with industry regulations. Key Responsibilities: Oversee fire protection projects, specialising in sprinkler and suppression system installations & Passive Fire Protection across commercial and industrial sectors. Manage contract negotiations, variations, and ensure compliance with JCT/NEC contracts. Coordinate with fire system designers, ensuring CAD drawings meet client and regulatory requirements. Work closely with fire safety engineers and site teams to ensure correct system installation and commissioning. Conduct detailed site inspections, ensuring all work meets BS 9251, BS EN 12845, and LPCB standards. Monitor project financials, keeping costs under control and ensuring profitability. Liaise with key stakeholders, including M&E contractors, main contractors, and regulatory bodies. Oversee RAMS documentation and ensure all health and safety procedures are adhered to on-site. Manage client expectations, building long-term relationships for repeat business opportunities. Requirements: Minimum 5 years’ experience in a Contracts Manager role within the fire protection industry, specifically in sprinkler and suppression systems. Strong understanding of UK fire safety regulations and relevant British Standards (BS 5306, BS 9251, BS EN 12845, LPCB regulations). SMSTS Ability to interpret technical CAD drawings and liaise with design teams. Strong leadership abilities with experience managing site teams. Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel across project locations
