The Role:
As a Business Development Representative you will play a pivotal role in our Customer Experience department. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who thrives in a dynamic, KPI driven environment and is committed to improving the lives of others. Your role will involve identifying key decision makers within organisations, presenting our training platform and services, and driving them towards committing to our offerings.
Key Responsibilities:
* Decision Maker Sourcing: Identify and research the decision maker within an organisation through various sources including fact finding, online research, databases and social media.
* Prospecting: Initiate contact with prospective customers through cold calls and emails to introduce our products and services.
* Qualifying Leads: Assess and qualify leads by understanding their business needs, challenges and identifying a solution within our training offerings.
* Sales Pipeline Management: Maintain and update records in the CRM system, ensuring accurate tracking of leads, follow ups and conversion status.
* Appointment Setting: Schedule demonstrations with potential clients to ultimately gain their commitment.
* Collaboration: Work closely with management and the wider Customer Experience team to ensure the customer journey is as seamless as possible.

Qualifications and Qualities Needed:
* Experience: Proven experience in a B2B sales role with evidence of working to and consistently hitting KPIs.
* Communication Skills: Excellent interpersonal skills, able to communicate with compassion and clarity to a range of clients and team members.
* Problem-Solving: Analytical and solution-focused, with the ability to navigate complex challenges and make sound decisions under pressure.
* Values-Driven: Passion for social impact and a commitment to enhancing care standards through education and up-skilling. You are driven by the purpose behind our work and motivated by making a difference.
* Sector Knowledge (nice to have): Understanding of the children looked after & care sectors, with insight into the challenges and needs of both care professionals and vulnerable individuals.
